About this website: The SMU archaeological theory website of 2008 was developed as part of the course Principles in Archaeology (ANTH 6301) taught by Dr. Sunday Eiselt. My interest in Landscape Archaeology stemmed from a study that exposed me to Cosmological Landscapes in the Maya lowlands, which were, in this particular case, referenced on tomb murals through iconography and epigraphy.
