About Me

I'm a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at Southern Methodist University (SMU) specializing in the historical archaeology of the colonial southwest. I currently serve as research assistant for Sunday Eiselt in the historical archaeology lab. Before arriving at SMU I completed the master of arts program in history at the University of Texas at Dallas. My thesis revolves around the history and archaeology of Ranchos de Taos, a colonial village in Northern New Mexico. My research at Ranchos de Taos continues, as I'm now analyzing artifacts and documents gathered during the the field season that followed the completion of my master's thesis.
